Owned and operated by fellow EG member, Craig Pedersen, il Primo is a delightful little Italian bistro in the heart of Little Italy. Open for dinner, lunch and brunch, il Primo is an ideal destination for everyone who appreciates traditional Italian cuisine, fine wines and a friendly atmosphere. A little history... Craig and his wife, Adriana, operated a trattoria in a small village in the Italian Alps before moving to Ottawa in 1993. After working in the local hospitality industry for a few years, they found the perfect location to open their first restaurant in December of 1996. Ottawa's Little Italy is a natural choice for the fine Italian cuisine that the menu offers and to showcase the diversities of Italian culture so you know your visit to il Primo will be one of personal warmth and professional excellence.
