The EG Opener is open to anyone — that is anyone looking for a fun, social and optionally-competitive golf event... not to mention lots of great prizes, so feel free to invite your friends and family!
This annual spring event is open to EG members, non-members, Slammer Tour members and guests and features 18 holes of golf, lots of prizes and a scrumptious dinner buffet prepared by Le Petit Merlot. Naturally, vegetarian options will be available.

- EG Members: $90
- Non-members, guests and members-to-be: $100
- Dinner only: $25
- +HST
$25 cancellation fee before May 16th; no refunds for no shows and cancellations within 48 hours

- Ian Campbell's "The Guy In The Kilt" Putting Contest with a great prize package
- On-course long drive contest
- On course closest-to-the pin contest
- On-course "cross the rope" contest for an Eagle Creek foursome
- On-course BEAT EG for a free round of golf
- $5K hole-in-one for all participants (tentative)
Format
- Social: Two-person scramble (if you're solo, we will pair you up); this is just for fun, even though we still keep score and give away prizes
- Play your own ball: no prizes for this format but you can still try the contests and have a great day!
- Slammer Tour match-play format (competitive, yes, but still fun!)

Assortment of three salads, vegetable tray with dip, stuffed eggs, roast beef with house gravy, baked potatoes and sour cream, hot vegetables, beef lasagna, garlic bread, BBQ chicken drumsticks, condiments, bread and butter, desserts, coffee and tea.
